The Annual General Meeting took place in The Gambia, bringing together partners from Ghana, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia. We were also privileged to welcome representatives from Senegal, our newly joined partner country in the regional project. Their participation provided an opportunity to understand the partnership model, ongoing activities, and achievements from existing country partners.
The meeting served as a valuable platform for sharing progress, discussing challenges, and showcasing innovations across the project. It also enabled bilateral exchanges between partners, allowing them to learn from each other’s experiences. For instance, the National Association of Cooperative Credit Unions of Sierra Leone (NaCCUA) was able to draw from the experience of NACCUG in The Gambia by adopting the NACCUGsoft system significantly reducing the cost and expertise they would have incurred developing a new system from scratch.
